HOW TO APPLY

Thesis Working Title:
Assessing population trends and environmental drivers in an important Ross Sea sentinel, the Adélie penguin

My research interests are Population and Spatial Ecology, Antarctic Marine Biology (primarily penguins), and Conservation. For my doctoral research, I will be assessing the population trends of Adélie penguins in the Ross Sea, what drives these trends, forecasting future trends in their populations, and investigating changes to habitat suitability.  I will be using remote sensing, Geospatial Information System (GIS) methods, and Bayesian Hierarchical modelling.
