I am a soil biologist, interested in the ecology of soil invertebrates and their interactions with soil physical-chemical parameters. I also have research interests in restoration ecology, forest soil ecosystem functions and services, and the biodiversity of forest microhabitats such as suspended soils and deadwood. In my spare time I do science communication activities and complement my scientific interests through macrophotography - generating engaging images to communicate soil biodiversity to wider audiences.
