Originally built in 1910,听the refit of the Chemistry building has been specifically designed for Music and Classics students and staff. The building includes a new exhibition space - the Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities, music practice suites, a recital space, a small lecture theatre and library, offices for staff, student workstations and a social area.

Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities - now open to the public
The听, named in recognition of generous donors UC alumnus听Professor David Teece and his wife Leigh Teece, features the James Logie Memorial Collection. The Logie Collection is at the heart of the Classics department鈥檚 teaching programme and is one of the most significant collections of Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Near Eastern artefacts in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Teece Museum is open to the public Wednesdays through to Sundays, 11am 鈥 3pm. Schools and groups can also visit by appointment on Mondays and Tuesdays. Find out more about听
