Conor Shearing is now a Junior Aerodynamics Engineer at the Haas F1 Team based in Maranello, Italy.
On a day-to-day basis, his role involves him working within the aero development team. Conor said he was quite lucky as the relatively small size of Haas means that his role is quite diverse, splitting his time between the wind tunnel and the office. As a test engineer, he carries out wind tunnel experiments, analyses data, and prepares tests. In the office, Conor creates aero studies/reports and is in the early stages of aero development with CAD and CFD.
