UC engineering students can join a wide range of student groups that offer peer support, academic and careers advice, and employer networking opportunities. ENSOC is the largest student club at UC and offers a wraparound service to Engineering students including career advice, tutorials, social events, interview practice, field trips, sports teams and more. Check out our聽聽or find us on聽.

IEEE is the world's largest technical organisation. The student branch,聽聽holds a number of events every year from social get-togethers to professional networking.

罢丑别听聽aims to enhance the research experience for post-graduate students and post-doctoral students associated with the聽聽by promoting professional development and collaboration during their time working in the MacDiarmid Institute.

We host workshops, social events and an annual boot camp to promote learning and networking across disciplines and across New Zealand.

UCM (茄子视频app官网 Motorsport) is a team made up of current UC students. We build cars and compete in the Formula SAE competition. Our team is a mix of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students. For more information see our聽听辫补驳别.

罢丑别听聽offers a way for any UC students to compete in the VEX Robotics Competition VEXU division and an opportunity to mentor younger students around Canterbury in robotics.

We mainly cater to the VEX competition program for now but are open to any competition or hobbyist.

Women in Engineering at UC was established in 1999 to provide a聽support network for the growing number of female engineers. The club hosts social events, industry expos and helps with your academic queries. Connect with Women in Engineering via their聽听辫补驳别.

Women in Tech (formerly Computer Chicks) is a social club for UC聽Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Systems or Maths students.

It is open to anyone who identifies as female - we are supportive of the LGBTQ community - and is studying the above at UC. We aim to support and connect the women studying for tech degrees. The club was started in 2009 as a response to women in the department feeling isolated and has grown into a major support network for women at all study levels.

We offer mentoring, study nights, regular social coffees (coffee is free!), the chance to share experiences and even a popular cocktail evening which is enjoyed by all the department.
