Entry requirements

To enrol in the PGDipOrgPsyc, you will need the following:

  • a 240-point master's degree or PhD in Psychology, with a substantial component or your coursework and research being in organisational psychology
  • proof of employment (paid or unpaid) in an organisation relevant to organisational psychology that will allow you to use your role for the internship component of the Diploma, alongside a letter of agreement from your employer
  • completed an interview process including official academic records, letters of recommendation, and evidence of relevant experience.

If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.

Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Psychology

How do I plan my diploma?

The PGDipOrgPsyc is made up of 120 points of compulsory courses, including a 1,500-hour supervised internship with your current organisation that will occur throughout the whole programme.

This coursework includes reflective journals, written assignments, cultural and field supervision, noho marae, workshops, an oral exam, and building a competency portfolio.

Beginning in February 2025, the Diploma will take one year full-time to complete, or part-time for up to two years.
