Members of the public are welcome to visit the UC Libraries and browse our collections. Non staff and students are also welcome to visit Macmillan Brown Ƶapp and request to view items within the library.
To borrow material, you must be registered with the Ƶapp. You must present a current Canterbury Card,ULANZ institution card,or subscriber borrower card. Most staff and students of the Ƶapp are automatically eligible to become borrowers, including approved academic visitors.
Exceptions to borrowing include UC employees on casual contracts, some visitor classes, culturally enrolled students and some UC Opportunity students.
What can I borrow?
Students (this includes undergrad, Honours level, postgrad, research, distance, and UC Star students)
Students can borrow a total of 100ٱ at the same time, with restrictions on some types of items as in the table below.
Prospective PhD students will obtain access to information resources and Ƶapp materials once their application for enrolment is complete.
- The normal loan period per item is 90岹 but this is subject to recall.
